Fly fishing in the muntain streams of the ChilcotinOne Eye Outfit travels to some of the most outstanding remote fishing spots in Canada. The Charlotte Alplands contains the highest concentration of alpine lakes in British Columbia, seventy-five in total, where you'll find superb wilderness, still waters and streams that have rarely been fished.

Our Charlotte Lake base camp is accessible by Forest Service road only twenty minutes from Highway 20. We also offer a wilderness camp on the lake near the headwaters of the Atnarko River, which can be accessed only by boat. Accommodation is in wall tents and all meals professionally prepared over the campfire. We have a well equipped 23 ft. cabin cruiser and a 24 ft. motor powered canoe. Both include a "skipper" and guide to give you trolling, spin casting and fly fishing options for an exceptional angling holiday. Charlotte Lake is 7.5 miles long and 5 miles wide and will yield native rainbows up to 10 lbs. The fishing at the outlet on the Atnarko River, and down stream at Little Charlotte, and Baby Charlotte Lakes, where there is no road access, is really superb. The cold clear water produces brilliant silver, hard fighting rainbows.

Fly fishing at Charlotte LakeOur alpine fishing spots are accessed by float plane, and then by horseback. Departing from Nimpo Lake in the morning, you'll arrive in twenty minutes at the legendary "Fish Lake", high in the alpine. We pack your gear on horses and ride for about thirty minutes to our permanent camp on Frog Lake. Our staff includes a cook and camp tender as well as licensed professional guides.

Accommodation is in expedition-style, large and comfortable wall tents and meals are prepared for you over the fire. We use the finest locally produced, fresh food. You can fly and spin cast for native rainbow trout in Fish Lake, Frog Lake, and Fish Lake Creek right out of camp. Day trips by horseback will take you to more remote spots such as Octopus Lake and the headwaters of Whitton creek for the best wild rainbow trout fishing you'll ever experience. This is primarily a catch and release fishery where only One Eye Outfit's clients have access! We have watercraft on most of these lakes. You'll have the whole place to yourself, and you'll catch lots of scrappy rainbow trout.
